This is your opportunity to join a worldwide market leader in IT infrastructure with a high focus on KVM- and AV solutions. Located in Køge, Denmark you will be responsible to sell Black Box’s TPS portfolio,
With help of a team with Account Managers, In-house sales and Tech people. You will also have personally responsible to develop the indirect channel in Denmark. This position reports to the Sales Director for the Nordic region.

Job responsibilities

In this role, you will be asked to:

  • Make customer visits and provide sales presentations for the entire portfolio, assisted by Applications Support to technically qualify customer’s needs.  
  • To continue our growth, you are expected to work successfully with our existing customer base as well as finding new customers through seminars, cold calling, effective local partner management & strong relationships in our Tier 1 accounts
  • Develop go-to-market strategy and the business plan for the assigned client group/territory to providing input for campaigns and client engagement. And build a network of distributors and channel sales
  • Analyse the target markets and industries with an emphasis on trends and competitors activities
  • You will work towards achieving mutually agreed business goals and will be measured on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. As such, you will be required to maintain accurate, timely forecasts, Account and Deal plans and monthly business reports on target customers.
  • While working to achieve your own individual sales target, you are managing / leading the Sales team in Denmark.
    In this role you will:
    • be required to forecast, budget and report at a high and qualitative level for both yourself and your team that consisting of KAM and in-house/telesales people.
    • plan, execute and delegate tasks and activities that are to be incurred to deliver on the strategy/objectives/budgets/etc.
    • work closely with the Nordic management team to develop the business in the Nordic region.
    • Proactively manage performance of your direct reports, plan their development and training needs.
    • Be the spokesperson for the region and to translate the BB WW/EMEA strategy into executable actions.
    • Inform on a regular base the Danish team about the company’s progress and success from an EMEA perspective.

Job requirements


  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience and a track record as a Sales Manager or having sales experience that included Key Account Management or Project Management.
  • Established relationship of potential business partners in Denmark across all industries or specific verticals important to our TPS and channel business. With special focus on Distributors. (e.g. Broadcast, Telecommunication, A/D, System Integrators, Healthcare, Data Centre, Government)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including, team working skills and good communication skills. Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization
  • Persistence and tenacity in developing prospects and customers, and able to close business. Strong hunting capabilities and ability to deal with entrepreneurs / Company Owners.
  • Strong presentation, analytical, negotiation, problem solving and influencing skills. Result oriented
  • Ability to resolve conflicts
  • Ability to understand the basic technical  features/functionality of the product portfolio
  • Understand new market trends and competition in your area of responsibility. Feed this back to management and product line
  • Ability to run and manage projects from a sales perspective from prospect towards order
  • Strong business acumen and organizational skills.
  • Self-starter able to manage time and organize / prioritize workload
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English in addition to other local languages
  • Ability and willingness to travel (>50%).

Desired Characteristics:
  • Education - university level degree in a related discipline
  • Technical qualification in the discipline of Engineering, Physics or IT and/ or a Business Degree/experience
  • Ability to translate technical product information into strong customer value propositions
  • Strong team player with the ability to work successfully in a multicultural organization
